The long-awaited trip is finally here!
Guess what?!This time we will visit the Holy area of METEORA!!

Programme
We will depart from Thessaloniki at 07:45. At 11:00 we will visit the Holy Monastery of St. Stephen and then we will go by bus to the main part of Meteora and have time to visit the Holy Monastery of Varlaam. We will have some free time there to take photos and to admire the magnificent view.
We will arrive at Thessaloniki around 18:30.

IMPORTANT!!!
Please have your greek student card (paso) or your erasmus ID with you in the trip, in order to enter to the monasteries for free. 

Most of you probably know about the place, but here is some short information about Meteora : 

Meteora is an area that covers few square kilometers, where an ancient monastic community and a rare geological phenomenon of huge rock pillars coexist in absolute harmony. Located at the northwest tip of the plain of Thessaly, Meteora today has become one of the most popular destinations of mainland Greece. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site, an archeological site and an officially declared holy place!
